Clenching is medically referred to as Bruxism and is a condition where one grinds, gnashes or clenches their teeth. Those with bruxism unconsciously clench their teeth together during the day or clench and grind them at night. Mild bruxism may not require treatment, however, in some bruxism can be frequent and severe enough to lead to jaw disorders, headaches, damaged teeth and other problems. To identify bruxism, it’s important to receive regular dental care.
