Veterinary Testimonials
Small Animal
Dynasplint® is a valuable tool in my rehabilitation practice, both with two-legged human patients and four-legged canine patients. It's certainly a welcome addition in the field of small animal rehabilitation, a recent collaborative effort between physical therapy and veterinary medical professionals. Not only does Dynasplint® allow my patients to "take my hands home" with them, but I'm certainly assured that my patients and clients will be compliant, safe, and comfortable with their range of motion home programs.

"Our client, "Marley" came in with severe knee flexion contractures bilaterally, after having undergone multiple stifle surgeries on both legs, and prolonged immobilization in a crate. He was very anxious and uncomfortable with manual stretching, and wouldn't allow us even to get to end-range. After only 2 weeks of using the Dynasplint®, he gained 35 degrees of extension, and was much more tolerant of being stretched--in fact, he even allowed some joint mobilizations to be performed. [Our Dynasplint® Representative] was very informative and helpful in the ordering and fitting process. I don't think we would have been able to get functional ROM back in this dog without the use of Dynasplint®."

"I removed the Dynsplint® System after five hours and was shocked at the result. The splinted leg was corrected already to the point that my foal could rest his front foot down to the ground. It was absolutely miraculous to see." ..."I would recommend Dynasplint® Systems highly for its ease of use, its capability to create effective correction, and because of the superb customer service you receive."

"Our foal “Belle” was born with a severely contracted fetlock. She walked mostly on her fetlock joint and her little hoof stuck out to the side. Our vet suggested that we try a Dynasplint® before we settled on surgery. She had a client that had successfully used a Dynasplint®.
We tried two Dynasplint® Systems. The second Dynasplint® kept her leg straight, and did not allow her leg to bend back. For two weeks we faithfully put it on and took it off at least twice a day. We persevered through a lot of frustration because we did not see any results. [The Dynasplint® Systems representative] was terrific. She encouraged us to keep going and not to give up. The third week we began to see her straighten up and then suddenly over about three days, Belle’s leg was completely straight. She is now just about six weeks old and we cannot believe how the Dynasplint® straightened out her leg. It’s a miracle.
When Belle was born, we had a lot of people who dropped by to see our long anticipated foal. Many people were being polite, and not saying what we knew they were thinking. If you had seen her then, you would never believe that it’s the same perfectly even, straight, gorgeous filly that we have now, thanks to Dynasplint®!"
