The Dynasplint® Trismus System

Trismus Dynasplint® System

Trismus Dynasplint® System w/Balance Bars

The Dynasplint® Trismus System aids in restoring physical function and more importantly, quality of life to patients suffering from joint stiffness and limited range of motion in the posterior mandibular or temporomandibular region. Limitations in mandibular motion can be caused by TMJ dysfunction, radiation therapy, infection, surgery, trauma, or burns. In preliminary clinical trials the Dynasplint® Trismus System has been successful in treating these limitations. The key to its effectiveness is the low-load, prolonged-duration stretch (LLPS) technology that delivers a correct biological stimulus to create a permanent length change in shortened connective tissue.

–The Dynasplint® Trismus System uses a low-load, prolonged-duration stretch (LLPS) to deliver a correct biological stimulus that creates a permanent length change in shortened connective tissue.

–10.8 million people of all ages in the United States suffer from TMJ (estimate from the National Institute of Health) Limitations of mandibular motion can be caused by TMJ dysfunction, facial trauma, radiation therapy, stroke and surgery.

–A Dynasplint® Systems consultant will fit patients and oversee their treatment to ensure the best possible results.

– Dynasplint® Systems have been clinically proven to reduce time and cost associated with range of motion rehabilitation—in many cases by more than 50 percent.*

– Over a quarter of a million patients have been successfully treated with Dynasplint® Systems.

What people are saying...

“I suffered an infection and a hematoma after a tooth extraction and I could not open my mouth wide enough to brush my teeth or eat a normal diet. I feel that the Dynasplint® Trismus System was greatly beneficial to me. It was very easy to use and I suffered no side effects whatsoever to my teeth or gums. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to use the splint and I think it would be very beneficial to other patients.”

-P.F.

“I could only open my mouth 24 millimeters. Thanks to the Dynasplint® Trismus System I can now open my mouth to 37 millimeters and I can eat solid foods with ease. The splint was so easy to use. I could do my exercises while reading or watching TV. The great part was there was absolutely no discomfort or side effects.”
