Balanced breakfast everyday – quick and easy to make!

Want to eat a balanced breakfast, but feel the mornings are just too rushed to make anything decent? Are you lucky to run out the door with a cereal bar and cup of coffee?

Start off with a balanced breakfast, and feel better all day long. Here are simple and delicious make ahead breakfast ideas.

  • Smoothies – line up 5 mason jars. Fill with spinach, frozen fruit, yogurt and water or milk. Each morning, toss the contents of the jar into the blender, blend, then pour the smoothie back into the mason jar, screw on the lid, and you’re set for a portable healthy breakfast!
