Dynasplint® supports SPAN with canned food drive

Dynasplint Systems, Inc. is continually looking for ways to give back to the community. During our annual company picnic on September 12th, we are going to hold a nonperishable foods drive to donate to the Severna Park Assistance Network (SPAN). SPAN is a local assistance network that helps with food and financial assistance to families in crisis and seeking help. The food pantry served over 1,300 families in 2007. Community donations are directly proportional to the number of families SPAN can serve. Over the holidays many people are in the giving spirit and donate in abundance, but during the summer months the shelves become bare. If most Dynasplint colleagues bring just one item off the SPAN list, think of the difference we can make in many of our neighbor’s lives.
Dynasplint Systems, Inc., founded in 1981, designs, manufactures and sells dynamic splints for patients with joint stiffness and limited range of motion caused by injury, surgery, or disease. The company has 620 colleagues nation-wide, with over 200 in the Severna Park offices. “It is our desire to help restore people, business and life the way it ought to be,” says Hepburn, “and being integrally involved in our community is a central part of that mission.”
Dynasplint® Sponsors Annual Get “Teed Off” at Arthritis Golf Tournament

Dynasplint Systems, Inc. will once again be title sponsor of the annual Get “Teed Off” at Arthritis Golf Tournament benefiting the Arthritis Foundation of Southern Maryland for the 2nd year in a row. George Hepburn, P.T., owner & president of Dynasplint Systems, Inc., is an active member of the community and believes in the philosophy of giving back through strong support of area non-profits such as the Arthritis Foundation.
The Dynasplint Systems, Inc. “Get Teed Off at Arthritis” Golf Tournament is being held at Queenstown Harbor-The Lakes 310 Links Lane Queenstown, MD on Friday, September 19th. It will be an exciting and fun-filled day of golf. There will be two chances for the Million $ Hole-in-One shot, a putting contest, longest drive and closest to the pin contests. The shotgun start is at 10:00am with registration beginning at 8:30am, followed by continental breakfast and mimosas prior to play. The day will conclude with a delicious lunch, silent auction and awards ceremony. A foursome can register for $750 or $875 with a company tee sign; individuals can register for $195. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Funds raised will help support the Southern Maryland branch which serves Anne Arundel, St. Mary’s, Charles and Calvert Counties by providing aquatics and land-based exercises programs, free information brochures, health fairs, educational seminars and presentations.
